This book emphasizes the lives of Samuel Auger II (1813–1880) and Ann (Amy) Auger (1814–1886), who immigrated to Canada in 1848/1849 and lived in Wellington County; their sixth son Moses (1853–1936), who took over the homestead; and two of Moses's children: Milford (1878–1960), son of Moses and his first wife Annie Mighton (1854–1885), and Orley (1894–1976), son of Moses and his second wife Anne Grose (1861–1950). This emphasis is due to the availability of relevant information and materials about those individuals, the more immediate interests of attendees of the annual reunion of Moses Auger's descendants, and the need to establish content parameters. ...
