Excerpt from the Preface
This scrapbook of the life of Orley and Effie (Barton) Auger is meant to be of interest to their descendants and other immediate relatives. Chapter One includes summaries of the genealogical information about Orley and Effie included in Samuel Auger II (1813–1880) and Ann Amy (1814–1886) Ancestors in Cornwall, England, and Descendants in Wellington County, Ontario, Canada (Valleyhome Books 2016) and in Effie Amelia (Barton) Auger 1899–1968 Ancestors in North America (Valleyhome Books 2018), and additional material about their lives before they met and married.
